How big are the beads on this japa mala?
Each bead is a substantial 20mm, noticeably larger than a regular japa mala. The big size gives your fingers a firm, satisfying grip on every count, which many sadhaks find helps them stay attentive through long chanting sessions.
Is a 20mm bead mala comfortable for daily japa?
Yes, the large beads are actually easier to move one by one, especially for elders or anyone whose fingers tire on small beads. Hold it in the right hand, roll each bead with the thumb, and chant your chosen naam.
Are these 20mm beads genuine tulsi?
They are, each one hand-rolled from original tulsi wood by Brajwasi artisans in Vrindavan. Because the beads are large, avoid dropping the mala on hard floors, keep it dry, and never let perfume or moisturiser touch the wood.
