What are the bead count and size of this mala?

This japa mala has the full traditional count of 108 beads plus one sumeru, made with long tulsi beads of about 15 to 16mm. The elongated shape gives your fingers a firm, natural grip as you move from bead to bead.

Why choose long beads for naam japa?

Long beads roll smoothly between the thumb and middle finger, so each mantra gets its own distinct movement. With 108+1 beads, one full round completes a standard japa count, making this mala ideal for daily sadhana at home or in the temple.

Is this 108 bead long mala original tulsi?

Yes, every long bead is cut from original tulsi wood and strung by Brajwasi artisans in Vrindavan. Keep it dry, carry it in a japa bag to protect it, and keep perfume and oils away from the beads.
